Course Content
The total course duration is 24 hours, including 1 day of theoretical introduction, 1 day of actual equipment operation and 1 day of data analysis.

Acoustic term definitions, sonar equations, ocean ambient sound, underwater noise sources, underwater noise spectrum, important reference materials.
Underwater Noise Measurement
Introduction to underwater noise meter, introduction to auxiliary instruments, underwater deployment method, interference reduction method, measurement planning, personnel safety, introduction to offshore measurement examples.
Underwater Noise Analysis
Data processing flow, data calculation methods, ocean soundscape analysis, uncertainty analysis, report writing examples.
